Nayla is a University of Manitoba graduate with a Master’s of Physical Therapy and a Bachelor of Science. Growing up, Nayla played lots of different sports including volleyball, basketball, badminton, figure skating, snowboarding and softball. Nayla may be a familiar face to some of you as she worked as an assistant at Pembina Physiotherapy for several years while finishing her schooling!

Nayla is certified to practice acupuncture and has completed Level 1 of the Orthopedic Levels. In her practice, Nayla uses manual/hands-on techniques, exercise prescription and acupuncture to treat and help prevent future injury. Providing education to patients about their condition/injury is also very important to Nayla and with that knowledge her patients are able to play an active role in their recovery! Nayla has taken additional training in the area of vestibular rehabilitation. Vestibular conditions include benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), labyrinthitis, vestibular neuritis, and Ménière’s disease. Depending on the diagnosis, vestibular rehab may consist of balance training, gaze stability training and canalith repositioning maneuvers.

Nayla stays active by taking in spin, barre and yoga classes. She also loves hiking and taking her dog, Charlie, for frequent walks!
