Mathew graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree majoring in Psychology and continued his education to graduate from the faculty of Medical Rehabilitation-Physiotherapy Masters Program in 2014.
Over the past 8 years Mathew has been a volunteer coach/assistant coach, coaching youth basketball at multiple levels ranging from Club to High School to Manitoba’s Provincial Team. He has experience training high level athletes and now looks forward to providing a physiotherapy program that includes manual therapy, an exercise regimen and rehabilitation with an emphasis on injury prevention for his patients.
Mathew is certified as a first responder and has attended multiple high performance training seminars including injury prevention for runners. He recently received certification in the SFMA (Selective Functional Movement Assessment) Level 1 and Level 2. Mathew is also currently working towards becoming a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT).
He has a keen interest in anything sport related and enjoys playing basketball, volleyball, soccer, tennis and golf.
