Megan graduated from Wellington College in 2009. Her approach for assessing and treating the body as a whole lead her to pursue training in Reiki therapy; an energy healing therapy she uses to address the mental and emotional needs of her clients.
Megan’s training in Equine Massage Therapy helped honed her skills in myofascial release and changed her orthopaedic approach to treating her (human) patients. She found greater success in allowing her clients to relax during the treatment and the lighter touch created lasting results.
Megan is extremely passionate about the body and seeks to continually expand her knowledge. In 2015 she was accepted into the Canadian College of Osteopathy and is currently in her third year of training. Her training in Osteopathy allows her to assess and treat soft tissues, bones, nerves, organs and the head.
Osteopathy utilizes soft tissue release such as myofascial release, strain counterstrain, muscle energy technique, unwinding. As well as joint mobilization, cranial osteopathy and visceral treatment.
In her spare time, when she’s not studying, Megan can be found at the barn horseback riding or on the dance floor – learning West Coast Swing.
