Deedee Schultz

Physiotherapy Examination Candidate, M.P.T., BPHE

Deedee Graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2018 with her Bachelor of Physical Education. During this time, Deedee was apart of University of Manitoba’s Space and Technology Team where her team won first place in Canadas Satellite Design Challenge. Deedee then went on to graduate with her Master of Physical Therapy in 2022.

Deedee has grown up playing various sports like hockey, softball, lacrosse, swimming, dance, basketball, and volleyball. She coached power skating for 10 years in the community and coached softball. Deedee is passionate about outdoor activities like hiking and kayaking. She recently started ski-joring with her husky.

Deedee strongly believes in a holistic approach to rehabilitation. She focusses on functional ability while using evidence-based manual therapy techniques, exercise, and education to reduce pain and improve function. Deedee promotes a holistic lifestyle and strives to tailor treatment individually through client centred approaches. Deedee’s approach is about giving control back to clients in their daily activities and to participate in new activities with confidence.

Deedee strongly believes in continuing education and being a lifelong learner. She is certified in Myofascial Blading through RockTape and has taken additional courses in non-internal Pelvic Floor and Vestibular Dysfunction. Deedee has completed various Orthopedic mini courses in manual therapy. She has participated in ACL injury protocol research through her time at University of Manitoba. Deedee plans to pursue further education and certifications relating to manual therapy and acupuncture/dry needling.
