Dan completed his Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Manitoba in 2005 and began working at Pembina Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic as a physiotherapy assistant and office manager shortly after. Understanding the inner workings of a private practice physiotherapy clinic, he decided to return to school to complete his Master of Physical Therapy, where he won several awards and was part of the Advanced Orthopaedic Manual Therapy group.
He has taken many courses, including Level 2 of the Orthopaedic Division’s curriculum, and is certified in acupuncture and as a sport first responder.
To complement his strong exercise background, he has the goal of one day garnering the Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT) designation.
When not doing something physiotherapy related, Dan leads an active lifestyle by participating in hockey, baseball, fitness and golf. He can often be found in Manitoba’s great wilderness camping and carrying a canoe over his head.
